Copyright, Usage and Quotation

Vortex Drone Company Ltd retains the copyright of all filming whether video or photo. The client purchasing Vortex Drone Company Ltd services will get full use of material, however they will not be able to sell or allow 3rd party companies to use it without prior agreement from Vortex Drone Company Ltd.

We reserve the right to use any of our footage for our own internal promotion including for PR purposes on our website. We also reserve the right to supply our footage to stock libraries at a later date unless agreed otherwise with the client.

The client will receive a USB stick with the data required or data can be transferred electronically via a data transfer portal.

Should you have any concerns or issues with the above statements please get in touch prior to filming.

As each job is different we will quote on a case by case basis. Due to the additional complexities of drone flying, the weather, time of year, airspace and the requirement for us to adhere to CAA regulations each quote will vary and we will ensure the client is kept fully up to speed during the process.

We will require a 20% deposit in order to confirm any job. However, we appreciate some jobs will be requested at short notice and in that instance we reserve the right to waiver this requirement for the client.

We do however need to complete our pre-flight survey which is a requirement for us to ensure we conduct the flight safely and within the CAA regulations. Safety will always be our number 1 priority.

Postponements, Cancellations and Weather

Our drones have specific flight limitations which need to be adhered to. They cannot fly in strong wind or rain. If due to the nature of UK weather we are not able to conduct the job we shall not charge the client if we are able to make alternative arrangements for it to happen at another time. In this instance the 20% booking fee is simply transferred to another day.

If the job cannot be re-scheduled due to Vortex Drone Company Ltd we will refund your deposit.

If the job is cancelled due to other issues and not re-scheduled due to the client no longer requiring our services, we will retain the 20% deposit unless we have a prior agreement.

If the job is terminated with both Vortex Drone Company Ltd and the client in agreement we will refund the 20% deposit. 

Payment Terms

Payment due 7 Days on completion of the job (unless by prior agreement).

20% deposit required prior to the job unless by prior agreement.

Travel Costs: Free within 30 miles of OX11. 40p per mile thereafter.
